British photographer Dan Holdsworth will be in conversation with Ben Harman, Director of Stills, to talk about recent projects and aspects of an established career that has included the presentation of major exhibitions for galleries and museums in the UK and abroad. In 2007, his solo exhibition, At the Edge of Space, Parts 1-3, was held at Stills.

British photographer Dan Holdsworth explores the relationship between landscape photography, science and technology. Most recently, his work has become an investigation into both real and virtual representations of the geological landscape. Despite being deeply informed by the uses and applications of the newest technologies, Holdsworth’s work refers openly to the history and tradition of landscape photography.

Born in Welwyn Garden City, UK, in 1974, Holdsworth studied photography at the London College of Printing. His work has been featured in international exhibitions worldwide, including at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and Tate Britain, London. His work is held in major international public and private collections including Tate, London; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Mumok, Vienna; and the Goetz Collection, Munich.
