worldwide pinhole photography day

29 April 2018 is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!

In celebration, we're hosting a drop-in day of practical pinhole photography so you can join in the fun! Come along to explore the creative potential of this magical and captivating process.

We'll have lots of cameras available to take for a test drive, from tiny matchbox spy-cameras, cylindrical biscuit tin cameras, Ilford’s 5x4 Obscura camera and even digital pinhole conversions for those who want to explore alternative processes without the chemicals!

Everyone will have a chance to take and process a picture with the option to then scan and upload it to the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day online exhibition!

If you have already built your own camera, we will be opening up our facilities to all pinhole photographers who need a place to process, scan and re-load!

There'll also be the chance to learn more about the enchanting realm of solography and further pinhole developments to help build on the achievements of the day.

This course is suitable for all ages. There will be fun handouts and practical things to take home.

Free to drop-in, though if you would like to register for a place in advance please follow this link to get your Eventbrite ticket.
