Stills’ Christmas Market

Saturday 9th - Sunday 10th December, 11am – 6pm

We are currently accepting applications for tables from artists and designers, independent retailers and makers of artisan goods.

Stills has a very loyal and engaged audience and a fantastic city-centre location; at weekends our gallery attracts hundreds of visitors. We’re really excited about our Christmas Market – it’s the first time we have hosted an event like this and it’s comes during a big year for Stills as we celebrate our 40th anniversary!

The Christmas Market will take place in our gallery space on Cockburn St, which has lots of independent shops and cafes along it – making it a popular destination for Christmas shoppers. There will be a major retrospective of the photographer Robin Gillanders exhibited on the walls of the gallery, but floor space is completely clear for sellers. Stills will provide tables and we can accommodate additional items for display, such as mannequins and display cases, agreed in advance.

Information for Applications

This weekend is one of the busiest of the year and our location on Cockburn Street is a popular destination for Christmas shoppers and tourists. Additionally, our team will carry out marketing and promotional activity across our e-newsletters, website and social media, which reach thousands of people in advance of the event.

Wi-fi access is available to all exhibitors with their own card payment devices. Access to electrical sockets is available and our gallery is fully accessible. Exhibitor set up starts at 9:30am with the gallery opening at 11am.


Tables vary in size, but are on average 120cm x 70cm

Full table: £100 for Saturday and Sunday
Practitioners can also request half a table for £60 (also Saturday and Sunday)

How to Apply

Please send us some general information about your practice/product, information on what you plan on selling at the Christmas market and a price range plus a selection of 2 – 3 images.

Successful applications will be sent a booking form or the event. The table fee must be received in advance to secure the space.
