AiR 2016 - Clelia Rainone
Clelia Rainone’s work tries to capture a certain atmosphere or feeling, conveying a story, that can change and become personal according to who’s looking. In Rainone’s practice there is a search for authenticity that transcends any premeditation and planning and seeks to seize the moment before it fades away. Distance and the passing of time are, as a matter of fact, key themes. The analogical medium is ideal to embody this search for authenticity and to create a physical bond with the captured image, that becomes a token of what has been.
