Putting Ourselves in the Picture
‘Putting Ourselves in the Picture’ is a group show by artists who have just started working with photography.
Through a series of introductory workshops they have learned skills in digital photography, studio work, costume design, green screen and a little bit of darkroom. Over a period of eight months they have experimented with techniques to tell stories and explore ideas. This exhibition marks a period in their creative ventures, showcasing what they have learned and where they might want to go…
Putting Ourselves in the Picture is on display in Stills’ production pacilities located downstairs from Stills’ gallery space.
Brought together via The National Galleries of Scotland and Fast Forward, Putting Ourselves in the Picture is supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council , University for the Creative Arts and all of our partners.
