Limited Edition Print: Morwenna Kearsley

£25.00

Photographer: Morwenna Kearsley

Title: Evasive Action #6

Year: 2019

Morwenna’s work is concerned with the physical and psychological implications of the cinema, the history of photography, autobiographical narratives and the hauntological perspective on our bodies, voices and homes.

Evasive Action #6 takes its title from an interview Gerhard Richter did with Rolf-Gunter Dienst in 1970, where he describes the difficulty in selecting (from photographic sources) subject matter or his paintings that might remain neutral. The image shows a cutting of velvet, photographed in a pitch black room with a moving i-phone torch.
