Title: Foliage at Sgadan: homage to John Thomson who visited Formosa in 1871.

Chiu, Yi-Chieh is a Taiwanese citizen living with his Irish partner in Gilmerton.
Working primarily on photomechanical processes, he aspires to be the emulator and imitator of his predecessors’ devotions and works (aemulus atque imitator studiorum ac laborum). He tutors and teaches Latin, translates, and takes photographs on the way there.

An archival quality digital inkjet print of 169 x 257mm on A4 (210 x 297mm) 300gsm premium matte paper, signed and editioned by the artist in pencil. It is from an edition of 25. It is not mounted, no mount or board is included.
