This short publication follows the meetings between its author Arlette Manasseh and poet Roger Robinson and investigates the intricacies of Robinsons T.S. Elliot Prize winning poetry from his book ‘A Portable Paradise’.

Arlette Manasseh is from West Lochaber. She lived in London for a total of twenty-seven years; working as a director in the performing arts, and as a volunteer in neighbourhood transformation. She moved back home in 2013 with her family and is currently completing an MLitt in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow. Her interests are experimental poetry and the verse novel, long reviews and the essay form.
